Dina-Marie Griffiths


Dina-Marié obtained her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Pretoria in 2001. After working in the Defence Force, she spent almost 7 years in the United Kingdom where she worked for the NHS as well as in the private sector. She returned to South Africa in 2010 and started her own private practice in 2014.

Dina-Marié completed numerous international courses in the treatment of connective tissue, also known as myofascial release and scar management. She has a passion for the treatment of breast cancer related complications such as post-mastectomy pain, scarring, and lymphoedema (swelling due to removal and radiation damage to lymph nodes). She is a registered Lymphoedema Therapist (Casley Smith Cert) and a member of LAOSA (Lymphoedema Association of South Africa). The Lymphoedema treatment includes treatment of both primary and secondary conditions.

Dina-Marié has a special interest in the management of pelvic health for males and females (pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, incontinence) and has been part of the My Sexual Health team since 2016. She treats pre- and post-prostatectomy patients. She is a member of the Pelvic and Women’s Health Physiotherapy Group

She is currently completing her certificate in Chronic Pain Management at the Train Pain Academy, assisting with conditions such as neck and back pain, headaches, TMJ, ITB, etc
