Acute and chronic doctors visits

Doctors Consultations for all ages

Practice hours are between 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday

We offer doctor and nurse appointments each work day and every effort will be made to accomodate your preferred time

Our standard appointment time is 15 minutes. Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our receptionist if you require some extra time. Appointments for special examinations, such as for Drivers Licence, Insurance and Occupational medicals will need to be advised at the time of booking.

Patients are taken in the order they present to the practice, however please be aware that a patient with a serious medical health issue may be taken before you. When attending our health centre, you will often see a nurse before you see the doctor.

Wellness Screening

The wellness screening is made up of carefully selected tests to help you get a clear picture of your health. These tests are the first step in detecting serious chronic conditions such as hypertension, heart disease and diabetes.

Baby Immunizations

Modern vaccines are effective and safe and at worst trigger harmless reactions such as fever, irritability, swelling, redness or pain caused by the injection. Severe complications caused by immunisation are extremely rare and therefore not a reason to choose against immunising your child.

please remember to bring your baby’s Road to Health card, so that your baby’s immunization is recorded.

Key points to remember about immunisation

  • Immunisation protects your child against a range of serious and sometimes fatal diseases
  • Immunisation on time is the most effective way to protect pregnant moms, babies and children from preventable disease
  • The benefits of immunisation far outweigh the risks

Adult Vaccination

Vaccination is recommended throughout life to prevent vaccine-preventable diseases and their sequel. The primary focus of vaccination programs has historically been directed to childhood immunizations.

For adults, chronic diseases have been the primary focus of preventive and medical health care, though there has been increased emphasis on preventing infectious diseases.

Vaccination is one of the most effective public health interventions, reducing or eliminating the burden of many infectious diseases.
